Auditing the Auditors when the Auditors DGAF

Tell me if this has happened to you. Nice meal, pleasant server, an extra mint as you pass the front desk. Holding the door for your lunch companion, you pause at an uncommon angle giving you a glimpse of an unframed 8.5x11 document in landscape mode. You've seen many of these but this one stands out. Once the familiar and unfamiliar features of this rectangle converge with your flittering attention span, there is momentary spike of acuity in your faculties. This sanitation report, posted by a local municipal authority is supposed to be blue lettering on white background. This one is red, signifying a failure to meet sanitation standards required to operate and serve food to the public. Ideally, you would be informed BEFORE dining.

Think of today's post as a red-lettered sanitation grade that you notice AFTER stuffing yourself with a portion that was already grossing you out a little. Link to original article.
