I played 2 years of middle school soccer growing up but mostly I played football, basketball, and track. We had our kids on swim team and rec soccer at 4 and 5 years old. They chose soccer as their year-round sport and I became "that soccer dad". I translate all soccer play to my native terminology - "crash the boards", "give and go", "jump the route", etc, Soccer turned from a game I found boring, to the only sport I will watch.

Researchers at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) are using a cocktail of small molecules and proteins to reprogram cells into muscle stem cells, which then multiply rapidly and produce muscle fibers. This could be especially helpful for patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, explained study co-author, Inseon Kim.
